This patented suspension system keeps the condenser element completely isolated from the microphone’s body, ensuring no electronic or handling noise will get in the way of your audio capture. You’ll get less acoustic reflections, and more realism.

The SCX25 has a smooth, uniform frequency response from 20Hz - 20kHz, making it very consistent when responding to on and off-axis signals. What’s more, it offers excellent phase coherence and minimal proximity effect. The wide cardioid polar pattern enables you to blend the sound of the instrument with the sound of the room. It can handle sound pressure levels in excess of 135dB and provides up to 20dB of ambient noise rejection.
