The Analogue Systems RS-270 Adapter Converter allows you to convert between 3 connection types, enabling you to connect modules to an external amplifier, mixer, and more devices that may only feature a 1/4-inch or 3.5mm socket. The RS-270 offers 3.5mm, 1/4-inch, and RCA phono sockets. It is a useful utility module that allows you to present any audio signal or CV to any of its inputs.

Occasionally, you may want to use your modular gear with external amplifier, mixing desk, and synthesizer that may not offer 3.5mm sockets. This is where the RS-270 Adapter Converter comes in handy. Instead of needing to retrieve a handful of converter cables or plugs, the RS-270 provides you with a better solution.
Panels 1 and 2 offer 2 connectors. These are 3.5mm and 1/4-inch. In use, one of these would be to take the CV and gate produced by a MIDI/CV converter with 1/4-inch outputs, and then this would be plugged into the 1/4-inch sockets on the front panel. From this you can then derive the signals from the 3.5mm sockets and direct them to an external device or module using standard 3.5mm cables, saving the hassle of needing converter cables. Panels 3 and 4 offer 3 connectors. They are the same as 1 and 2, but provide an RCA phono socket as well. This means you can then connect to any devices that requires RCA plugs.
