The microphone's cardioid polar pattern ensures that unwanted noise from behind the microphone is kept to an absolute minimum, whilst a wide frequency response ensures that every detail is captured with precision.

The CHM99 comes complete with a range of design aspects that help to improve the mic's performance and sound quality. Part of this is down to the specially treated cable. The 10-metre (33ft) cable has been carefully crafted to reduce twisting, improve durability, and enhance performance.
