Stable feel across five strings
The F10 uses neck-through construction, creating a continuous neck structure through the body for stability, sustain, and a consistent response. Its five-piece hard maple and mahogany neck is paired with a 35-inch scale and 45mm bone nut, giving the five-string layout a solid foundation. The C-shaped profile keeps the neck straightforward and familiar in the hand, while 18mm string spacing gives each string defined positioning. Whether you’re working around the lower register or moving further up the neck, the F10 is built to provide a stable platform for your playing.
Smooth access across 24 frets
An ebony fingerboard gives the F10 a firm playing surface, complemented by rolled fretboard edges for a smoother feel in your hand. You get 24 medium stainless steel frets across a 12-inch radius, providing plenty of range for bass lines that move beyond the lower positions. The modern single-cut body shape works alongside the neck-through design to create a distinctive playing platform, while rounded-rectangular pearloid and abalone block inlays make fret positions easy to identify. It’s a considered combination of materials and dimensions designed to keep your playing responsive and comfortable.
Shape your sound in detail
The Marcus Pure-H Revolution pickup set is designed to produce a focused, articulate sound while keeping unwanted noise low. And when you need to adjust that sound, the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp puts plenty of control within reach. You can balance the pickups using the blender, then adjust treble, bass, and middle frequencies to suit your setup. Volume and tone controls handle broader changes, while the pickup variation switch provides another way to alter the response. This flexible control layout lets you make detailed tonal adjustments directly from the bass — useful when changing parts, sounds, or playing situations.
Premium materials with practical hardware
Swamp ash and solid poplar burl give the F10 its distinctive body construction, presented in a natural satin finish that keeps those materials visible. Black hardware provides contrast, including premium die-cast tuning gears and aluminium control knobs. At the bridge, the Marcus HeavyMass Custom design provides a substantial anchor point for the strings. There’s no pickguard, keeping the front of the bass clean and leaving the natural body materials on display. A Sire hard case is also included, giving you dedicated protection for storing and transporting the instrument between rehearsals, recording sessions, and performances.
