The MXR TBM1 Tom Morello Power 50 Overdrive allows you to capture over 30 years of Tom Morello innovation within a single pedal. Reproduce the sound of an entire amp set up within seconds for a massive, clean and controlled distorted tone.
The Power 50 guarantees an overdrive that will cut straight through the mix when playing lead, as well as thickening it out when playing on the lower end. Fitted with an array of control settings, the FX loop feature can be used to redefine the sound of your rig, while the Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, Volume and Presence knobs enable you to interpret Morello's signature overdriven sound in your own way.

Harness decades of creative trial and error to capture the unique tone of an entire custom stack. Whatever your set up, the Power 50 Overdrive can add a whole new flavour to your sound through MOSFET technology that helps duplicate the big, gritty tones of a much larger rig.
For the ultimate Tom Morello effect, pair with the Cry Baby Wah pedal for a glorious Wah overdrive tone. Using the two in harmony is likely to create a slightly more subdued Wah effect when you run the Power 50 first. Running the Cry Baby first, however, will give a sharp high-end response to the toe-down position.
Bring your chain full circle with the loop feature
If you were Tom Morello, you would run all your pedals through the FX loop within your amp. Thankfully, with the Power 50, you don’t have to. Simplify your set up with the built-in FX loop feature, adding a new twist to your pedal chain effortlessly by accessing the raw signal clipping point that comes before the Presence control and tone-shaping output. By running your pedal chain through the FX loop while keeping the Power 50 engaged, you can use your “always on” feature to control the level of all your pedals simply by adjusting the interface on the Power 50, perfect for enhancing your live sound.
