The JHS Pedals Tidewater Tremolo takes you back to the tremolos of vintage amps, giving your tone that choppy texture that can be heard on many iconic recordings. With its straight-forward three control setup, you can dial in a range of warm, vintage characteristics. You can even set the JHS Tremolo Pedal up to act as a warm preamp booster for times when you just need that extra punch of tone. Despite its incredibly versatile performance, the actual size of the Tidewater is super small, perfect for those crowded pedalboards

With a super compact design, you wouldn't think the Tidewater could produce such a versatile performance. The three control knobs that adorn its front gives you all the tone shaping you need to create an array of warm and inspiring vintage-tremolos. While the volume simply adjusts how loud the tremolo is, the mix and speed can be used to adjust its depth and speed. You can also dial the mix all the way down to create a warm preamp boost. If you wanted more control over the speed of the tremolo, then the three internal dip witches let you set the speed to be faster or slower than the standard setting.
JHS Pedals has evolved from a one man, bedroom operation, to a world recognised boutique effects pedal company. Josh Scott, founder of JHS Pedals, began by modifying pedals he had on his personal board. Years of touring and session work led Josh to realise exactly what it is that players want from their pedals, which meant building them from the ground up to achieve perfection.
Their unique and wide range of pedals have gained prominence and acclaim across the rock scene. They've helped U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins, Beck, The Killers, Muse, David Bowie, and many more to create their thrilling live sounds. Every JHS pedal is hand-built and tested in Kansas City, USA by highly skilled pedal builders, ensuring each one is crafted to perfection. The company has a core value that JHS builders will never be replaced by robots.
