The Yamaha PSR-I500 is a versatile 61-key portable arranger keyboard designed with an extensive collection of sounds and accompaniment styles for Indian music alongside a broad selection of conventional keyboard voices. Its touch-sensitive keyboard, integrated speakers and portable construction make it suitable for practice, performance and music education.

AWM Stereo Sampling provides a collection of 801 instrument voices, including 40 dedicated Indian instruments alongside piano, organ, string, brass, guitar, percussion and synthesizer sounds. A maximum polyphony of 48 notes provides ample capacity for layered performances and accompaniment.

The PSR-I500 includes 282 automatic accompaniment styles, with 50 dedicated Indian styles. Its Riyaz feature provides integrated Tabla, Mridangam and Tanpura patterns with 30 Taals, making the keyboard particularly useful for practising and performing traditional and contemporary Indian music.

Quick Sampling allows external audio to be captured and triggered from the keyboard, while USB audio, MIDI functionality, pitch bend and programmable control knobs expand its creative possibilities. Twin 6-watt amplifiers and integrated 12cm speakers provide convenient standalone sound without requiring external amplification.
