Southern California Influence

The Fender Sonoran SCE V2 electro acoustic guitar is influenced by the laid-back attitude of southern California. It fuses a traditional dreadnought body with a Stratocaster electric guitar neck for a bohemian aesthetic that will bring a stylish look to wherever you perform, whether that is the local coffee house or on the beach. The inclusion of a Stratocaster guitar neck gives you the tonality of an acoustic guitar with some of the easy playability of an electric guitar, making it quite a unique proposition with a distinct feel.

Quality Tonewoods

The Sonoran SCE V2 has a solid spruce top for a bright tonal quality. It is braced with scalloped X-bracing for enhanced resonance and, when combined with the mahogany back and sides in the large dreadnought body shape, produces a well-balanced acoustic tone that will sound great on its own or with a singer. Scalloped X-bracing usually features on more expensive guitars, and lends the Sonoran excellent sustain and resonance, both unplugged and amplified. The neck has a comfortable 'C' shape for easy playability and a relaxed playing feel. The single cutaway design allows you to reach the top frets of the neck with greater ease, perfect for solo moments or playing with a capo at the higher range.

Amplified Performance

The Sonoran SCE V2 has a built-in Fishman Isys III pickup/preamp system for the ability to plug into an amplifier and get playing on-stage or in louder rehearsals. The preamp has a handy tuner and 3-band EQ allowing you to shape your tone and make quick tuning adjustments during a performance. This makes it the ideal instrument to practice with at home and then take to the gig to be used in louder stage environments.
