The Les Paul has become one of the most well-known guitars since it first made its debut back in the 40s. Its iconic performance and tonal capabilities have found its way into the hands of many notable musicians, including Slash, Pete Townsend, Bob Marley, and Jimmy Page.
This Traditional Gibson retains the very foundations of what makes a Les Paul a Les Paul. From its mahogany body delivering the same sweet, warm tones as the vintage models, to its stunning AA figured maple top creating that iconic Les Paul look.
A Traditional Playing Feel
Comfort wise, this Les Paul takes a page from its vintage cousins. Its body features the classic contours and forgoes the weight relief, giving you a solid construction and a beautifully classic playing feel. The neck features the traditional rounded profile, letting your hand reset naturally against the neck for a comfortable performance.
The 22 low frets offer a thin feel, letting your fingers flow smoothly across the fingerboard for speedy runs and easy slides. The frets have also been cryogenically frozen, increasing their durability for a comfortable playing feel that will last you a lifetime.
Delivers Classic PAF-Inspired Tones
Keeping with its traditional design, the Les Paul is equipped with a set of Gibson's BurstBucker pickups which deliver that classic PAF tone. Recapturing the magic of the original ''Patent Applied For'' pickups, the two BurstBuckers provides you with incredible power and sweet characteristics that will accommodate anything you play on it.
Independent volume and tone controls gives you all the creative freedom you'll need to create incredible soundscapes. Both pickups have also been hand-wired for an authentic performance, while its orange drop capacitors enhance the BurstBucker's stability and precision. No matter what you do, you'll always get a consistent tone.
Strong and Stable Tuning
For added reliability and stability, the Gibson is fitted with an ABR-1 tune-o-matic bridge and vintage deluxe tuners. While TOMs offer excellent string stability and quick string changes, they also let you find the perfect action and intonation for your playing style. Simply adjust its mounting rods to set the perfect height and screw in or out the saddles to set the intonation.
